We are the Plymouth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk from Meavy school following the Leat and the reservoir waterside with stunning views of the Moor , to Sheetstor Church for picnic lunch before heading through fields, bridleways and woods past Marchant's Cross and more fields to The Royal Oak at Meavy before returning to the cars. Three high stiles which younger children (and some adults!)will need guiding over and potential mud underfoot but otherwise fairly flat walking.
Possible to shorten the route by 3/4 mile at Marchant's Cross and return to the start via a short lane section.
Park and meet in front of the school in layby or road.
