Overview

This walks takes in several places of historic interest: a medieval pack horse bridge, a malt kiln, Dalham Hall and a motte and bailey.  The path runs alongside the River Kennett, through woodland and past a high point of 103metres above sea level with big views of rolling fields.  Bring provisions for mid morning and lunch breaks.

The meeting point is in Moulton at the Pack Horse Bridge. There is some car parking on the edge of Bury Lane, or park considerately in the village. Recommend lift sharing due to limited parking.
