Walk details
Today's circular walk will take us through some of Oxfordshire’s quintessential villages between Didcot and the River Thames. Starting at Didcot Parkway station, we'll briefly walk parallel to the railway to leave Didcot to pass through Long Wittenham and towards the Thames Path. Once there, we’ll follow it towards Dorchester On Thames, where we'll divert away from the Thames path towards, and after passing through it, we’ll briefly walk along it again before walking through Little Wittenham. From here, we head back into Didcot, where we’ll stop off at The Prince of Wales for those who want a pint.
If people want a slightly shorter walk, there's the option to cut out the diversion towards Dorchester On Thames, which will reduce the walk to around 12 miles.
