Overview

This will be an upland walk between the Vale of Edale and the Hope Valley, via Hollins Cross and Lose Hill, and finishing at Hope village, or station, which is an extra half mile on.

A shortish walk but a bit harder than some, so the going will be gentle and gradual. . There will be fantastic views all around.

Train from Sheffield Station at 09.14, arrives Edale at 09.46. Finish is in Hope, either for the return train (13.38 or 14.48) or 272 bus. If using train both ways, buy return to Edale. If using 272 bus, which is hourly until 14.05, please note that there is then a two hour gap until the next bus!
