Meet at 11.00 (PLEASE NOTE SLIGHTLY LATER START TIME) at Hampstead underground station (Northern line). PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO PUBLIC TOILETS AT THE STATION OR IN THE TOWN. FOR ANYONE PREFERRING TO WAIT SOMEWHERE WARMER WITH TOILETS, WATERSTONES CAFE IS ACROSS THE ROAD AND DOWN THE HILL FROM THE STATION AND IT HAS TOILETS. THE GROUP WILL PASS WATERSTONES AT 11.10 TO PICK UP ANY WALKERS WHO ARE WAITING THERE. Join Terry for a three-mile circular walk to explore this fascinating London village, seeing the houses where many of its famous residents once lived. (Some inclines but nothing too steep).Toilets and refreshments in a park cafe, also benches in the park for those wishing to bring a picnic.
