This walk takes in lovely views of the Darent Valley; Otford with its scale model of the solar system and the Tudor Archbishop’s Palace; the pretty village of Shoreham; Eynsford lavender fields; Lullingstone Park and Castle and the Eynsford viaduct. Bring a packed lunch. Tea/ice cream stop in the afternoon at the lavender fields and pub at the end.

Terrain: Hills, riverside and farm land

Travel: Take 10:46 from London Blackfriars (Bromley South 11:23), arr. Eynsford at 11:41. Alternatively, take the 10:55 from London Victoria to Bromley South (arr. 11:11) and change to the Eynsford train at 11:23. Buy return to Eynsford.
