A mix of surfaced and country paths will take us from the start at Godden Green through farmland (once orchards, then lavendar, now fallow) to the vicinity of Ightham Mote, after which there is stiff pull up to the Seal Chart ridge. After a muddy stretch we will take one of the nicest woodland paths in the area - flat, and good under foot even after rain. A descent down an enclosed path and the traversal of a golf course will bring us back to the start (and pub!).
Check the weather forecast and the Sevenoaks Ramblers website for any late changes.
Some large steps to climb, but no stiles. May be very muddy in a few places, especially if there's been recent rain - wellies recommended!
Bring a snack and drink.
