From Dunk's Green the route takes a lengthy (but nowhere steep) climb up to Hurst Wood and a gentle descent through an avenue of sequoias. Thereafter the walk is through more open country, passing Yotes Court vineyard and down to the attractive village of West Peckham, where we'll pick up the Greensand Way. After passing through more fine trees in Oxen Hoath Park, with a good view south to Hadlow, we will head back to the start, and one of the finest pubs in the area.
Bring a drink and any snack you might want during the morning. If you bring a dog this is your responsibility, and it must be under control.
The going underfoot should generally be good, but mud may linger if there's been rain. Few stiles.
