We are the Loughborough & District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
As a condition of the Garendon Park development, a new footpath has opened through Garendon Estate. The new path goes through the fields and passes close to the Temple of Venus (no access to the monument itself). The circular walk will also visit several woods, the Stonebow Washlands wildlife site and part of the University campus.
The walk is largely flat on easy ground; after extensive rain, paths in the woods could be muddy. Refreshment options at the end.
