We are the Exeter and District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk starting from the Tiverton Canal Basin car park. We walk in a westerly direction until we meet the River Exe. Then we follow the Exe Valley Way south, taking a sharp left to climb the steep hill towards Gogwell (highest point). There are amazing views over Tiverton and Knightshayes from Newtes Hill. Then its downhill all the way to Manley Bridge. We follow the Grand Western Canal back to the car park in Tiverton where Ducks Ditty should be open for anyone requiring post walk refreshments. Moderate/Leisurely (one steep hill climb).
