This walk takes us through some beautiful woods and includes wonderful views as we reach Lustleigh Cleave.
Starting at Manaton, we make our way through Letchole Plantation then to Water. We then follow the right of way through the Becky Falls Estate and descend through Houndtor Wood, eventually levelling off with Becka Brook as our companion. Once over the river Bovey we then make a long but gradual ascent to Sharpitor Nut Crackers. Then towards Huntor’s Tor taking in the views as we do. Descending to Peck Farm we then stride on towards Foxworthy, skirting Neadon Cleave. Leaving the woods we then eventually reach the road back to Manaton. Though not an especially long walk, careful footing will be needed in places. The path is sometimes, narrow, rugged and occasionally steep.
