Overview

A circular walk offering panoramic views North to the Abergavenny and Crickhowell Peaks.  We start by crossing the Blaen Pig ridge following the route of the Dyne Steel incline, then skirt Gilwern Hill following level paths around the old quarries on the eastern side.  We then descend into the Clydach Gorge joining the route of the Merthyr & Abergavenny Railway towards Brynmawr.  Finally, we climb a short distance to join the route of the Brynmawr & Blaenafon Railway which leads us to the finish.
