Overview

This is a walk with varied scenery. The route from Pandy follows Offa’s Dyke path north-west towards Cwmyoy before leaving it to maintain this direction. Crossing several fields it contours around a hillside before descending gently to reach the Afon Honddu river, then passes Strawberry Cottage to enter the nature reserve and wood. At Great Llwygy it picks up the Beacons Way down to Llanvihangel Crucorny, crossing the railway line again to head back towards Pandy.
