Overview

A circular walk from Dunster Castle. Leaving the castle we head South across Gallox Bridge for a slow ascent up Vinegar Hill before reaching Black Ball for extensive westerly views. Descending to Bonniton Gate before reaching the Tall Trees Trail, where the tallest tree in England stands. Heading East we pass through ancient Settlements on the way to Withycombe Hill and then on Bat’s Castle before returning through woodland & Deer Park to Dunster Castle.
