A moderate walk led by Joyce at a leisurely pace through Gleniffer Braes located to the south of Paisley.
The walk will be on mixed terrain on both established and rough paths, including woodlands, wide open spaces, some gentle hills and reservoirs.
The starting point is at Robertson Park Car Park known as the " Carpark in the Sky" PA2 8UQ. On a clear day there are fantastic views of the whole of Paisley and Lower Clyde valley.
The track can be very muddy in parts so gaiters and waterproofs are recommended.
There numerous walking trails throughout the braes, mountain cycle racing tracks, seated picnic areas as well as farmland with grazing cattle.
Please note there are several car parks at different entrances to the Braes, Robertson Car Park is the main car park at the elevated viewpoint.
There are no toilet facilities in the park itself although available at Glen Lodge but only when staff are on duty.
