The walk will start at Long Hill lay-by on A5004 south of Whaley Bridge, grid ref SK01885 77253.  We  drop down to Errwood Resr, along to Shooters Clough bridge before climbing up to Shining Tor, along to Windgather Rocks, meander down to Taxal where pick up the Midshires Way briefly before heading to the River Goyt to Fernilee Resr and back up to the starting point.
