It leaves Brentford, then along the River Brent and onto Osterley House, returning via the Grand Union Canal including the Hanwell Flight of six locks, then to Elthorne Waterside and Boston Manor. Boston Manor has free entry and is open until 5pm. You are welcome to leave the walk here to visit. The return trains to Staines are 15.23, 15.53, 16.23 etc. There will be a DIY coffee stop along the towpath and lunch will be at Osterley House, where there is a cafe and seating for a picnic. There may also be an option to stop at the cafe at Boston Manor Park towards the end of the walk.
