Overview

Strenuous - Approx 14 miles and 4000ft ascent.

The walk is a circular walk from Hartsop starting with a long, steady climb up to The Knott, then on to High Street, Kidsty Pike and High Raise. The paths up are good and no scrambling, but there is a bit of an off piste descent down the side of Meer Beck followed by a sting in the tail, as we have to climb up and over Beda Fell on the other side of the valley to get back to Hartsop. Amazing views all day if the weather is good!

Post walk drinks at the Brotherswater Inn.
