Overview

Given the lack of daylight hours, this is a reasonably fast paced 17 mile walk from Haslemere to Godalming taking in the high point of Devils Punch Bowl, a section of the Greensand Way and Winkworth Arboretum. The walk covers and number of ups and downs with total ascent of 700 meters. Depending on time, there might be an option for a cafe stop at Winkworth Arboretum.  

The route is likely to be muddy in places so please bring appropriate footwear and clothing.  

Please bring a pack up with pub stop at the end. 

Travel: Take train dep. 9:05 London Waterloo (9:15 Clapham Junction) arr. 10:13 Haslemere.

Buy return to Haslemere.

To allow other passengers to enter and leave the station, please meet outside the station away from the main entrance.
