We are the Gloucestershire Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Total ascent/descent: ~300m
📍 Route: a circular walk taking in the Badminton Deer Park, Badminton estate village, two ancient hill forts, and expansive views west to the Severn Vale and north to the Cotswold escarpment.
🗺 Key Info:
There are a couple of steep climbs in the last third of the walk; otherwise the route is mostly flat.
Waterproof walking boots with good grip recommended as some of the lanes (and fields) can be a bit flooded after heavy rain, and some of the paths are slippery (as well as muddy).
👉 Membership Details: This walk is organized by Ramblers and is free to join. Consider becoming a member after a few enjoyable walks with us.
👟 Attire and Footwear:
Dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy walking boots are highly recommended for your comfort and safety.

Dogs are not permitted on this walk, except for registered assistance dogs. If you have any concerns about route suitability, please consult with the walk leader beforehand.

We encourage you to take photos on our walks, but we ask that you do not share photos that include people’s faces anywhere public, including meetup, without their clear permission.
Occasionally group photos may be taken during walks. The photographer will always tell you where this will be shared, but this could include meetup, the 20s and 30s members’ WhatsApp group, or for promotional purposes - the Gloucestershire Walking Group website.
