The walk begins at Hedley on the Hill main road by The Feathers Inn, parking is on the roadside and care should be taken to avoid obstructing residents' driveways.
There are no public toilets either at the start of the walk or en-route, however The Feathers Inn do teas/coffee etc and have facilities for patrons.
The walking route is approximately 5.5 miles, although it is an undulating route there are no steep hills. When I did the recce recently the footpaths were quite muddy, and a few fallen trees to step over, therefore gaiters and walking sticks are recommended.
There are also two sections of the route when we will be walking along the roadside (no footpath) therefore care needs to be taken on these sections.
There are about 3 wooden stiles
