From the centre of Helmsley we will head out along the route of the Tabular Hills Walk, gradually ascending up Ash Dale. After a short section of road walking it is back into woodland above Riccal Dale, before turning back downhill and heading along quiet farmland tracks back to Helmsley.
This is a lovely walk with a mix of woodland and farmland with views across to the Moors to the north and the Howardian Hills to the south.
