High route circuit from Kirkstone Inn

Starting at the car park at the top of the Kirkstone Pass we climb on to St Raven's Edge and carry on up past John Bell's Banner to Caudale Moor. The route then takes us down this ridge to the Brother's Water Inn, past the lake and then another steep climb up Hartsop above How. A steep scramble takes us on to Hart Crag before we walk back via Dove Crag and Red Screes.
