Meeting time & place: 09.50 at Manchester Oxford Road station to catch the 10.02 train to Horwich Parkway.
Start time & place: after the arrival of the train from Manchester at Horwich Parkway, due at 10.28.
Note: walkers are advised to check one of the rail websites such as nationalrail or trainline close to the departure time in case of late changes to the running of the train.

Train ticket - return to Adlington (Lancs). If you have a GM concessionary travel pass you need only buy a single from Adlington to Blackrod.
