Note: walkers are advised to check the TfGM website / phone number near the date to ensure that no disruption of services is planned.
Tram ticket - if you do not have a GM concessionary travel card you will need a return ticket to Sale (Zone 3).
Car Parking - there is a public car park in Sale
Walk Route - Sale tram stop, Worthington Park (toilets), Priory Gardens, footbridge over M60, (toilets at Visitors Centre), over Mersey, Chorlton Brook, Bridgewater Canal back to Dane Road (if wanting to shorten the walk) or Sale tram stop.
Walking boots and clothes (waterproof anorak in wet weather conditions) are essential
To bring lunch and non alcoholic drinks.
