This lovely walk through woods and across fields takes us towards Westerham, through the edge of Squerries Court estate and then to Mariners Hill, coming out by Chartwell where we shall have a short refreshment break. Duly fortified, we shall go on to French Street and then back to Hosey Common.
There are some great views on a clear day, with wildflowers in the woods. It is an undulating walk and there are a few fairly steep uphill sections, but they are not too long. Only one stile and you can go round it. Toilets available at Chartwell, which we reach after walking about two thirds of the total distance.
From the A25 the car park is about 0.5m up Hosey Common Rd, signposted to Edenbridge, on the left.
