The walk will leave the Hulme End car park and head across the Back of Ecton to Wetton Mill, a picturesque stopping place over the River Manifold (with cafe and toilets). The walk will return along the Manifold Valley.

The Peak District National Park car park at Hulme End is payable; there is also a parking area near the cafe which is free for users of the cafe. Toilets are in the old station rooms. There are also toilets and a small cafe at Wetton Mill.
