Overview

We start at the Sheepwash car park at Carsington Reservoir. An ascent to Brassington with outstanding views then follows before we head to Harborough Rocks, an impressive outcrop of dolomitic limestone from which, given good weather, there are also outstanding views. We return via the High Peak Trail before a steep descent back to the reservoir.
