Overview

The undulating walk heads west through Clayton village before crossing the A273 and ascending Wolstonbury Hill, a challenging climb, but worth it for the views and the early coffee break. It then heads south via Newtimber Hill and a view of the Devil’s Dyke before joining the South Downs Way where we will stop for lunch. The return is along the SDW, crossing the A273 again with care. There are a handful of stiles but nothing too daunting. Enjoy.
