We are the High Weald Walkers Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a virtually flat circular walk. We walk along Egrets Way towards Southover and Rodmell. Returning via Iford. There are fine views across the valley on a fine day.
There is one brick stile and a few short muddy slopes.
There will be homemade mince pies and a tot of sloe gin!
Bring your own drinks and picnic.

The walk will start at from Lewes Rugby Football Club, Kingston Road, Lewes, Drive through Lewes passing the railway station. Turn right at the mini roundabout onto B2193, Priory Street, which becomes Southover High Street. At the Swan Pub mini roundabout turn left following the road around. Once you have gone over the A27 dual carriageway look out for a large lay-by on your left. The entrance to Lewes Rugby Football Club is immediately after this on the left.
