We continue to our Itchen journey from Eastleigh station making our way to the River to pick up where we left off the previous day. We follow the river past Eastleigh towards Otterbourne and Shawford. Depending on how people feel, there is the option to stop off at Shawford pub.
We will then continue along the Itchen Way to St Catherines’ Hill where we will aim to stop for lunch. After lunch, we will make our home approach to Winchester. In Winchester, we will stop off at the National Trust Mill (free entry) for tea/cake and to spot the otters. This will conclude day two of our Itchen adventure.
If coming from Reading, please get the 9:10 train to Basingstoke arriving at 9:37 then change to get the 9:48 which arrives at Eastleigh at 10:15.
Parking is available at both Eastleigh and Winchester stations.
