Walk details
After meeting at Mortimer railway station, we'll head out onto the footpaths and walk along part of the Devil's Highway: an old Roman road which linked Londinium (London) to Calleva Attrebatum (Silchester). We'll then head up to Beech Hill and complete a loop back to Mortimer station. We'll stop for lunch outside somewhere along the way, so please bring a packed lunch. It might be muddy, so please wear boots.
