Starting from Rainow, first we follow the Gritstone Trail to White Nancy, drop into Bollington, then backtrack over some familiar paths to Charles Head. From there to Kettlehulme before climbing towards the Bow Stones and Sponds Hill. After that, dropping down Bakestonedale Moor we will join the Gritstone Trail to Bollington, then past a pretty waterfall back to Rainow.
Only suitable for experienced walkers who can maintain a steady pace all day. We aim for fortnightly walks longer and more demanding than average. Programme likely to change at short notice depending on weather, availability etc, so please register your interest with the leader.
