We are the Cheshire Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting at Edale village, we will ascend the Nab via a short scramble to reach the edge of the bleak but beautiful Kinder Scout Plateau. We will walk clockwise as far as Crowden Tower, a huge rocky outcrop. Here, we plan to cross the peaty plateau over Crowden Head to reach the Kinder Downfall. We pick up the Pennine Way and pass Kinder Low before descending down the Jacob's ladder path.
We will be hiking to the highest point in the Peak District. Weather can be unpredictable. Please come prepared with plenty of water, a warm layer and a waterproof.
