Return Services: From Levenshulme Train Station – *Limited train return services to Piccadilly on a Sunday from Levenshulme –options: 14:25, 15:50 – then none till: 19:49, 20:29, 21:51 – alternative option is the 192 Bus (£2 fare) that run every few minutes to Manchester Piccadilly from Stockport Road (A6), Levenshulme’s high street

This circular short flattest route will take us across the green/muddy open spaces of parks, fields and woodland paths of the urban landscape of Levenshulme, plus Heaton Moor/Chapel. There will be points of historical interest such as the medieval moated site of Peel Hall and the area’s connection to the first non-stop transatlantic flight!
It will be the last day of Levenshulme Christmas Market (12pm – 7pm) opposite the Horseshoe pub on Chapel Street!
Please wear suitable footwear for walking (with a good sole - please, no sandals or Crocs ) required as some of the paths are uneven and may be muddy in parts.
There will be no opportunity to purchase food/water at the walk start. Please ensure that you bring with you enough food and water to sustain you for the duration of the walk.
