Overview

From The Bolton Arms we take the path along Leyburn Shawl with lovely views of Penhill. We'll stop for coffee before heading down to Tullis Cote and onto Preston Under Scar. Just as we get into the village we take the footpath south to cross over the railway line then the track to Lords Bridge. Depending on the time we'll either have lunch in Preston Under Scar or at Lords Bridge. From the Bridge we follow the Ure through the wood to Wensley. We cross back over the river and have a bit of road walking before taking the river path then a little bit of a climb back to Leyburn.
