Overview

We walk in Upper Wensleydale starting from the hamlet of Appersett. We follow the River Ure upstream to Mossdale Head and on to Thwaite Bridge. We then climb over High Rigg before dropping down into Cotterdale. We then follow a path south east to join the Penine Way for a short way before dropping down back to Appersett.
