Limefields Falls and Wester Breich Woods

Leaving from Livingston Inn Car Park we will walk towards Bellsquarry, where there will be an opportunity to stop at The Larder for a snack and toilet break.  The walk will take us to Limefields Falls and then we will walk through a small woodland to Polbeth.  From Polbeth we will pass the  Five Sisters Zoo where views of the Five Sisters Bings can be seen.  We will then take the Shale Trail through Easter Breich Woodland, there are lovely ponds on this walk where we may be able to observe birds.  We may stop for a snack and drink at one of these ponds, please bring your own snack and drink. The path will then pass the bottom of Mill Farm and then we will return back to Livingston Inn where the walk will end.   

Half of the walk will be on pavement and half of the walk will be in woodland which is muddy in places.  There are 3 sets of stairs we need to descend.  We cross a road at two points.  For about 1 km we will need to walk in single file along a road.
