From Glandyfi the route goes up through woodland & fields past an old watermill to join a very minor road which the Coast Path also uses. A climb up the road & then through trees brings the route to its high point with good views of the Dyfi valley & the Tarren Mountain range. The descent through trees brings the route into the Llyfnant valley which is followed inland to the East up through woodland to emerge at Glaspwll. From here continue to the East & then turning to the North on a bridleway to pass to the East of Llan Glanmerin followed by a sharpish at times descent & then through the golf course into Machynlleth.
