We will start by walking uphill from the car park to ascend the spectacular British Camp (also known as the Herefordshire Beacon). It consists of concentric ditches and mounds.
We will then return to the car park and cross the road before walking northwards on the ridge of the Malvern Hills with views to the west and east.
There are several switchbacks on this walk. We should see some of the cattle grazing behind a fence which have been introduced to keep the bracken down.
We will continue until we reach the Wyche Cutting which was the halfway point of yesterday’s short walk.
We will then return to the British Camp on a lower and more even route.
There will be a coffee stop and a lunch stop.
There are public toilets at British Camp and the Wyche Cutting.
