Margery Woods to Walton On The Hill

From Margery Woods to the ducks at Mere Pond, Walton On The Hill, and back. We leave Margery Wood car park, skirt Walton Heath golf course, cross the A24 and head North along paths to reach Mere Ponds. After a short break we head back across Banstead Heath, through woods and common in Lower Kingswood and back to the car park. For those that want, with a small detour near the end, one can pass by the The Sportsman pub and coffee shack for liquid sustenance. Undulating countryside. No stiles. Some pavement and one main road to cross twice. Sticks if wet may be necessary. Drinking water, hat and sun block if very sunny.
