Overview

We start at one of the highest points in the Ashdown Forest and then head along the ridge to Camp Hill with fine views in all directions.

We then head south out of the Forest on the Wealdway to Duddleswell and to the delightful ‘Church in the Forest’ at Fairwarp. The Church is having a special Open Day on the day of our walk so if we are lucky, tea and cake may be on offer. After passing down Fairwarp High Street it's not long before we pick up the Sussex Diamond Way to High Hurstwood and onwards.

After a pinic lunch on a summer meadow, we then head north back to the Ashdown Forest through the hamlets of Sleeches, Sweethaws and Poundgate. The final stretch back to the carpark affords mavellous views of both the North & South Downs.
