Overview

We initially follow the Mid Wiltshire Way past Martinsell Hill, descending to the Vale to reach the nature reserve at Jones Mill. We then continue to Oare and Huish before ascending to the ridge at Gopher Wood, staying on the ridge for the rest of the walk.  Panoramic views over the Vale of Pewsey; generally good tracks with only a few short muddy stretches. Map: EX157.

Everyone is welcome. If you would like to join this walk, please notify the walk leader (Kevin M  07854612907) or email swrsundaywalks@gmail.com.

If you would like to car share, please let the walk leader know when you book and we will hopefully be able to facilitate this.
