We are the South Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk around Salisbury River Park – meet outside Five Rivers Leisure Centre at 11.00. This is a circular walk of 45-60 minutes mainly over level ground and is taken at a slower pace. Work is now nearly completed on this part of the river park project and the walk take will take us through the Ashley Road Open Space, Fisherton Recreation Ground and the beautiful Avon Valley Nature Reserve. Some of the walk will be along the new raised boardwalks. The area here forms part of the new natural wetland habitat and there are viewing platforms where you may spot some wildlife.
