We are the East York Get Your Boots on Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We head out along quiet country lanes passing through the little hamlet of Swinton then on to Nutwith Common. From here we head into Hackfall woods and explore it's path's and folly's before joining the River Ure and the Ripon Rowel walk, following it back into Masham.
Long stay parking can be found at the Riverside car park. The entrance is down a track and can be found almost opposite Ave Bank off the A6108. Payment is via an honesty box. https://maps.app.goo.gl/wTzbfDuooq8m2v8j6
The parking around the market square is short stay only. Make sure to leave enough time to find the car park and walk to the meeting point. There are toilets in the Market Place.
We will be starting the walk from the Market Place in Masham which is about 5 minutes walk from the car park.
