Overview

Climbing steadily from Mellor Brook we make our way towards the Stanley House Hotel and continue uphill towards the flanks of Billinge Hill. Passing the Clog & Billy Cock pub we climb up to the Wainright Memorial , from then on down hill all the way joining The Witton Weavers Way and The Lancashire Way. We will then make our way over to Alum Scar Wood and towards Salmesbury Hall on our way back to Mellor Brook.
