Overview

This is a fairly level walk with no stiles. The walk commences along the Oxdrove Way (once a drove route for cattle), passing Itchen Stoke Down to meet the Three Castles Path where we stop for coffee. Passing close to the dismantled railway line which was operated by the Mid Hants railway, we walk to Itchen Abbas for our lunch stop. Walking parallel to the River Itchen along the Allan King Way, the route takes us to another part of the Oxdrove Way before joining the outskirts of Itchen Wood.
