Overview

From the car park, we cross the River Mole at the base of Box Hill, head through the underpass below the A24 to West Humble then a slow climb to the delightful woodland path (part of the Mole Valley Trail) along the base of Norbury Park and then down the winding road to cross Mole Valley over the A24. A stop at Mickleham village for coffee (bring your own) in the recreational park area. We then climb further up the valley and after galloping (or meandering) along the Gallops, there is a long gentle decscent down Stane Street and Downs Road back to the car park.

Some ups and downs. Mainly woodland paths. No stiles. A small amount of narrow pavement at the start and at the end of the walk. A main road and two country roads to cross. Sticks if wet may be necessary as will be slippy. Water, hat and sun block if very sunny.
