Overview

Start in Skewen station car park at 10am, then walk thru the streets to spend half an hour and coffee in Neath Abbey ruins. After viewing the ruins we will amble along the Clydach river and view 2 waterfalls. Then we will walk up thru the forestry to the neolithic standing stone on top of Mynydd Drumau. The paths up in the forestry are quite steep and can be muddy with approx 250 steps in the steepest section, we will gain about 200m. The walk down will be on gently descending forestry tracks. The views from the top are wide ranging on a good day.
