Overview

From the village we go down into Newtondale. The path can be slippery if wet, so poles may be useful. We will follow forest tracks up the dale to Raper's Farm and over to Raindale Head for lunch. A delightful woodland path takes us back by Raindale Beck, then back over pastureland to Newton.
